Location 3 Times respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. What we collect, and why

• The addresses you search. They are needed to build the report and are kept so we can serve the report again and analyze aggregate site usage. Because a searched address is someone’s home, report pages are shielded from search engines, never published publicly by us, and never shared with sponsors, advertisers, or anyone else for their own use. To build a report, the address alone, with nothing about you, is sent to the school boards’ school-locator tools and, for Ottawa addresses, the City of Ottawa’s address service, so they can return their answers. We do not record who searched an address unless you are signed in to an account, in which case the report is kept on your list. A report is stored with the random cookie described below, which holds no personal information, so we can show you the same report again and apply the daily limit.
• Agent accounts. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, website, and the professional details you confirm (title, brokerage, brokerage address, phone number) so they can be printed on your reports. Your email is used for account administration and, only if you provide express consent, occasional news and updates.
• Home buyer accounts. If you create a home buyer account, we collect your name and email address so you can sign in and return to the reports you have made. Reports made on the same browser before you created the account are added to it. Your email is used for account administration and, only if you provide express consent, occasional news and updates.
• QR code scans. When a code on a report is scanned, we record which report and page it was, the timestamp, and where the reader was directed. We do not record any identifying information about the reader scanning the code.
• Areas we do not cover yet. If you ask for an area we do not cover yet, we keep only the city and province you give us. If you choose to leave your email, we keep it to tell you when we reach your area, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
• Error reports. If you tell us something in a report is wrong, we keep what you wrote so we can check and correct it.

2. What we do not do

• No third-party analytics or tracking scripts are used on any page where an address is typed or shown.
• No data from Google is collected or utilized for this service.
• No data selling. We never pass your personal details, or those of your readers, to sponsors, lenders, or anyone else.

3. Cookies

We use a randomly generated cookie to count anonymous visitors and ensure the site functions properly. This cookie holds no personal information and is kept for up to one year. If you sign in to an account, a second cookie keeps you signed in for up to 60 days.

4. Where data is kept and processed

Your data is stored securely in Canada. We use OVHcloud as our cloud hosting provider, specifically utilizing their data center located near Montreal, Quebec, so the data we store remains within Canadian borders. While we strictly control access to your data, it resides on infrastructure managed by OVHcloud, who are contractually obligated to keep your data secure and confidential. One exception: the emails we send you, such as sign-in links, are delivered through SendGrid, an email service based in the United States, which receives your email address in order to deliver them.

5. Data retention and security

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete a home buyer account yourself at any time from your report list, which erases your name and email. Deleting a report from your list removes it from the list only; the report itself is kept. Property address searches are retained for aggregate analytics unless you request their deletion. Every connection to our site is encrypted (HTTPS), and access to the server is restricted to the people who run Location 3 Times.

6. Your choices and rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal information at any time. To do so, please email our Privacy Officer at info@location3times.com. Marketing emails will always include an unsubscribe link and require your express consent before we send them.

7. Policy updates

We may update this policy occasionally as our service evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify account holders via email or post a prominent notice on our website.
